Monsignor Lorenzo Albacete, a columnist for the New York Times, is a physicist by training and holds a degree in space science and applied physics. He earned his doctorate in sacred theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas in Rome.

Joseph Curran is an Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Misericordia College. He holds a B.A. from the University of Scranton and a Ph.D from Boston College.
